Fun With Our Boston Terriers

Jersey Bostons - Here in our home we raise and train our Boston Terriers Puppies, as if we’re going to keep them forever… That maybe a motto to some, it’s our lifestyle here. Our Dogs are as much a part of our family members as our children.

Happy Holidays

Last night we took the dogs and pups for a ride around the area to see the lights. It was pretty awesome (for us), very few cars were on the road, Atlas went too.
It’s pretty great to hear the pitter patter of the pups tiny feet, they’re a real happy bunch. They’re going at it right now, I have an older rope toy that the two girls are playing tug of war at. I have 4 adult boston terriers and 2 puppies in the house for Christmas and Atlas …besides the humans.
There’s so much that I want to write, how blessed I feel with the people who found me and my pups, to hear how much they love them, that’s all I can ever wish for is for them to be loved like I love mine.
I got to see the happiness in parents eyes, in husband’s eyes and in boyfriend’s eyes …when the one’s who get to call them “mine” …actually got them.
My daughter’s have had their bostons now for a few years and they’re so much in love with theirs as the day they were told yessssssssssssss, you can have one now. The joy keeps giving every time I’m around their friends/in-laws, how involved everyone is with their dogs, it’s great (people who I never would think are dog people, end up surprising me big time).
Rambo is a big boy. I still haven’t measured him, he’s not an over weight 28lb boston, he’s that big. There’s bigger out there, I know, but in general, we like to not see them go over 25lbs.
The girls have taken on a different personality now that the boys are in their forever homes. They go up to the adults much like wolves trying to find their spot in the pack. They cower to be accepted. The older sis *Sophia, plays with them great, she doesn’t care much for Atlas the mastiff pup (which is her house brother, they‘ll be leaving for GA next week. I wonder if she senses, that she’s got to be verbal with Atlas because he could become around 255lbs easy.
Straight up, the kids (pups), weren’t really a bother when we opened up the gifts, we pretty much kept the wrapping paper in a big plastic bag, so they wouldn’t go crazy. They did find a new weewee pad, my grand daughter’s new floor aqua-doodle dancen’ doodle pad (totally washable but still grosses me out).
What a surprise, and a good laugh I had when I went to clean my downstairs bathroom (one of the girls knew what to do in the bathroom …tiny tootsie roll left in front of the toilet (now that’s funny, I don’t care who ya are). …with a gross twist. I almost wanted to clap and say good girl, like I did when my daughter’s were being potty trained. (boston’s are very nosey when it comes to your privacy, I don’t know how many times I’ve had to say EXCUSE ME).
Sophia ruined a great holiday toy (her way of claiming it, but I was like no way, it’s for one of the pups, it just made it into more toys for him).
I’m really tired, time for me to take a dog nap and start it all over again in a few hours.
Happy Holidays to EVERYONE!
