The Great Austrian Adventure

Here we go again
We were all looking forward to the exciting trip so we packed our bags and gathered at the train station in Graz exactly at 6:45. After some struggle we found our seats and off we went to the capital of Austria.
The weather seemed promising ....until a few kilometres before Vienna.
Hmm... what shall I say?
It poured down basically.
Luckily the architects of Vienna thought every eventuality through and built an underground station next to one of the most famous sights – the Stephansdom.
As we got off there it had stopped raining! Great!
One of the highlights of that day was the amazing view from the top of the roof of the cathedral. We had taken the lift up there (for those who think we had climbed up the stairs!)
Then a short walk to the Museums Quartier. I went to the Leopold Museum to the Schiele & Klimt exhibition which was excellent.
And then....it rained again!
So quick for a pizza and to the Musikhaus which was quite interesting – but mainly warm and dry!
And that´s about it.
We had a great time...just the weather could have been better.
