The Great Austrian Adventure

As you probably know, Easter is one of the funniest festivities in the Czech Republic.
To be honest, mainly blokes love it!
Why is that?
The answer is quite easy!
This is the only holiday, when men can give all the women they now (yes that´s right – not only one) an "old good beating".
I know what you´re thinking, but it really is quite harmless! Mostly done in a symbolic way with a special "whip" made of 8 willow sticks called "pomlazka".
As I happen to have a lot of foreign friends, who all wanted to participate in this event, I invited them all to my hometown. They arrived at about 11am on Easter monday, that means, that they had only 1 hour to run around with pomlazkas and say the traditional rhyme: Hody hody .., while beating the ladies. As a reward they got some chocolate eggs and lots of shots of slivovice and wodka.
I must admit, they were quite exhausted when they arrived! But they all swore, that they´ll introduce this little tradition to their friend back home!

Let me think...is this a good thing?!!
