The Newlywed Knitter!

Congratulations! It's an egg!

So...today has been good, I think.

Auntie Flo did not see the need to send someone else in her place, which I suppose is good. This is definately not an ideal or even welcome time for such a responsibility as a baby, what with Bush still in office (kidding (sorta)). In all reality though, while we may be married, we're both still students, young and poor. I mean, in a perfect situation, we'd be out of school with at least our Bachelor's degrees, and in lucrative, enjoyable jobs with good health insurance, a nice house, and padded savings account. Clearly we aren't.

Oddly, it makes me a little sad that I'm not pregnant, but I'm sure that's just because I'm moody and have a post-wedding planning lull. I like planning things, which makes the feeling more confusing, because, if I had caught the baby flu (one of my favorite euphemisms, honestly) it surely wouldn't have been on purpose. Ever since the wedding though, my biological clock has been really out of whack, and my maternal insticts and cute-baby sensors have been in overdrive. Appearantly I crave chaos and planning out the chaos.

But now is not a good time for having chit'lins. I know this, I understand this, but I am still a little let down. I also know that if I were pregnant there wouldn't be a discussion about how to keep it, but quite the opposite. Again, I am still a bit dissapointed. This makes my head hurt muchly.

Ugh - I think I need a nap to NOT think about this.
