Not to sound like a health nut...

I think I found a substitute for potato chips...Steamed Snap Peas. Weird I know, but salt helps, and dipping them in asian vinaigrette is amazing.
I managed to lose 2.8 pounds this week (So I'm at 165.8 lbs, cuz I'm sure y'all hate math as much as I), which makes me happy, because I was a very bad girl yesterday. We went to dinner at Applebee's and instead of making a wise decision to get something off of their special weight watchers point menu (which would be the blatantly obvious good choice), I was naughty and got a crispy orange chicken rice bowl. Which was orgasmic. And Wrong. (Wrong me! Wrong me! Wrong my brains out!*) Beyond that, I don't know whether I forgot to read or went temporarily blind, but I got non-diet Vanilla Coke at the grocery. I didn't realize this until after we got home and I inhaled one. And then realized it was waaaay too good to be diet. Go me.
But I did lose weight, and am making (overall) better choices, which is the important part...if I have to...I guess*.
I have decided to knit a cover for either my glasses...or what I think needs more privacy than my glasses and goes bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz in the night. It's being knit in an all-cotton self-striping yarn, with 20 stitches to 4 inches. It's varigated white, lavender, pale pink, and deep rose, so it's really feminine. I think I'll make it a button closure, maybe try to do some short rows for the flap, but it's being knit like a little vibrator scarf, all in one piece, then seamed up the sides once I'm done. I'd like to find a little strawberry shaped button if I can, but that is assuming I ever finish it. I tend to have issues with finishing things.
OH! OH! I got my Fittted Knits book! SQUIEEEEE! It came on Saturday, and everything in it is gorgeous!
There's just an eensy weensy problem. I don't have ANY of the right needles. They're all circulars. I think I may have to purchase a set of interchangables...poor me (**snort**). I've been looking at knit picks' Harmony wood set, and am very fond of those, but I think DH needs to satisfy his need for research before I order them. Ah well. He normally does very well with finding the best.
I should actually get back to doing classwork, since it's all due in about 2 hours. Ciao!
*Bonus points to anyone that recognizes what that phrase is from.
