World Vision is responding to immediate needs and seeking $2 million to provide continued assistance to those affected by the floods in India's Bihar State.

Essential basic items are sent to evacuees in and around Houston. Meanwhile, a World Vision assessment team has reached Port Arthur, Texas, where adverse road conditions are affecting travel.

The CBS news segment will focus on a World Vision project in Haiti that saved lives during the four recent hurricanes that ravaged the impoverished island nation in a period of less than a month.
