WOW, July already Maybe its true what they say, time goes faster the older you get. I sure dont remember time flying this fast a few years ago. Sometime it felt like time was standing still. Oh well what can you do about it.
Not much has been going on. Working and working some more is about it. I dont have much time for anything else these past couple of months
Yeap, after braving a 4 hour drive in terrible weather, standing atop Gobblers Knob for another 2 1/2 hours to hear the world famous Phil make his prediction we found that we are to still have 6 more weeks of winter
I created a new album with pictures from the event and here is a video of the actual prediction (sorry about the crappy video, we were about 50 feet away and I used my cel phone to capture the prediction):
I found a bunch of pictures from the recovery from the Conestoga River I blogged about (here). I added them to a new album called Towing. Here are a couple:
We are heading to Punxsutawney, PA in a couple weeks for Phil's Groundhog Day prediction. Since Groundhog Day is on a Saturday this year we decided to make it a weekend trip. We booked our stay at the inn last year (in June) to make sure we would have a place to stay (its unbelievable how much attention / people this brings in each year).
I will be posting pictures in a new album once we get back.. hopefully I get a few good ones of Phil
Today is my wifes 40th birthday . She weathered the day very well considering she hates the idea of turning 40. I dont quite understand why so many females simply hate getting older or even telling people their age. What gives? Oh well... Happy 40th my dear.. and many many more!
Onyx went to his first professional grooming today and he tolerated it very well. Three hours of bathing, cutting and drying and he looks pretty spiffy. He did not really care for the bath too much but I guess most cats do not care for baths. The groomer said he will get used to it, so we will see, next appointment is in a couple of months.
