BUREWALA: Former Federal Minister for Religious affairs Ijaz-ul-Haq has said that if Zardari tried changes in the present set up then change in the government is on cards in November and added Zardari government has lost its credibility as few intruders have hijacked the whole government mechanism and present regime to get Americans assistance have broken all previous records to put national sovereignty in danger; He expressed these views while talking to media attending 80th urs celebrations of Khawaja Allah Dad Sahu at Sheikh Fazal on Tuesday (last) night.

Ijaz-ul-Haq said that terrorist attack on GHQ was regrettable but brave soldiers of Army in 19 hours coupled the operation and arrested key figures of terrorists’ network which would help eliminate their network in future. He criticized Zardari government for crossing all roads to get Americans assistance and added that “they have broken all previous records to put national sovereignty in danger”. He said parliament has been put on side in taking key decisions of the national interests and added that “if there was 10 percent problem in the Musharraf regime now it has increased to 100 percent” which is unpardonable. He blamed that India is directly involved in sponsoring terrorism in Blochistan and FATA areas of Pakistan as they have set 14 Consulates in the Afghanistan that are operating to weaken our country. He said that peace can not prevail in Pakistan unless our government forces United States and Afghanistan to abandon Indian consulates in Afghanistan. He said NATO and American forces supplied arms are being used against our people and hundred of our soldiers and drivers are being targeted through these arms and if they fail to do so then we should discontinue afghan transit trade and NATO supplies from here to pressure on them. Discussing Kerry-Lugar aid Bill, Ijaz-ul-Haq said that for 1.5 billion dollars annual assistance how we can sell our national integrity. The conditions mentioned in the Kerry-Lugar bill are in fact against the sovereignty of country. He said by this bill obligations American’s can take away any national out of 180 million people, they would get right to intervene in the promotions of higher army officials and access to nuclear scientists which are intolerable. He said that Turkey and Azerbaijan have returned American aids over petty offers which were more than that they are offering to us. He said that Chief of Army Staff have shown great patience as he takes away army from politics to made its image better and played positive role in the reinstatement of Chief Justice of Pakistan, Ifitikhar Muhammad Chaudhry during long march but now he felt to intervene in the controversy of KLB to set the pendulum right. Ijaz-ul-Haq said that few persons have hijacked the whole government machinery and decisions are being taken without taking parliaments in to confidence. He said that situation cannot be improved if these intruders not departures. He feared that if Zardari tried changes in the current set up then change in the government is on cards in November and if it takes long then they will not exist till March, 2010.
