BUREWALA: Burewala Circle Police arrested 128 criminals including 37 proclaim offenders involved in murder, robbery, theft and other serious crime incidents and busted six dacoit’s gangs and recovered 26 motor-cycles, mobile phones and arms from their possession informed District Police Officer (DPO), Vehari Umar Akhtar Hayat Laleka in a press conference at sub-divisional police office here on Friday morning. District Police Officer (DPO), Vehari Umar Akhtar Hayat Laleka informed that on the special orders of Inspector General Police (IGP) Punjab Tariq Saleem Dogar Burewala circle have been given task to arrest the criminals and proclaim offenders involved in heinous crime incidents and circle police under the supervision of DSP, Burewala Malik Muhammad Rafique Khokhar arrested 128 criminals including 37 proclaim offenders involved in murder, robbery, theft and other serious crime incidents and police also busted six dacoit’s gangs and recovered 26 motor-cycles, five mobile phones arms and ammunition from their possession, arrested dacoits gang includes Amjad Watto gang, Saleem alias Machi gang, Nawaz alias Nazo gang, Imran alias Bao gang, Bagay Shah gang and police arrested 17 members of these gangs and recovered stolen ornaments of Rs. 336’795, illegal arms including 20 pistols, 4 shot guns and 78 cartridges. DPO, Vehari Akhtar Umar Hayat Laleka informed that circle police have also traced two blind murders of Amjad Jatt of Chak No. 100/EB and Shamim Bibi of Warraich Town Burewala and culprits involved in these murders have been arrested. Later DPO, Vehari Akhtar Umar Hayat Laleka handed over recovered 26 motor-cycles to their owners and thanked the public for the cooperation. DSP, Burewala Malik Muhammad Rafique Khokhar, DDO Revenue Shahid Zaman Lak, President Burewala Bar Association Javed Shaheen Advocate, member’s bar association, police officers were present on the occasion.
BUREWALA: Fateh Shah Police arrested a proclaimed offender involved in many heinous crime incidents; Punjab government already had announced one lakh rupees head money for the accused; this was stated by DSP, Burewala Malik Muhammad Rafique Khokhar while addressing a press conference at his office on Tuesday after-noon. DSP, Burewala Malik Muhammad Rafique Khokhar informed that three accused including Muhammad Hussain s/o Wazir Ali and Dilawar s/o Maqbool Dogar residents of Chak No. 327/EB and Muhammad Ashfaq alias Punjabi resident of Chak No. 243/EB allegedly murdered Muhammad Anwar son of Niaz Ahmad and injured Muhammad Iqbal in the village and Fateh Shah police registered a murder case and arrested one accused Muhammad Hussain and was sent to jail while Dilwar and Ashfaq alias Punjab were declared as proclaimed offenders and they were involved in many cases of robbery and theft. District Police Officer Vehari Ashar Hameed and DSP, Burewala Malik Muhammad Rafique given a special task Fateh Shah to nab the criminals and Punjab government already had already announced one lakh rupees head money for the accused and a police party police SHO Rai Muhammad Akram, SI Muhammad Afzal and other constables arrested the one of accused Muhammad Ashfaq alias Punjabi with possession of illegal arms. DSP, Burewala Malik Muhammad Rafique Khokhar confirmed that accused was involved in five major crime incidents and wanted by police. He informed that police officials who had arrested him will be given cash prize and departmental promotion.
