Punjab Rural Doctors' & Paramedics Association's demands regularization in 12 districts

BUREWALA: Punjab Rural Doctors Association (PRDA) and Rural Health Employees Association (RHEA) have demanded of the Punjab Chief Minister to regularize them in 12 districts as they have been deprived of their right in the current decision of regularization despite promises; this was stated by their office-bearers while addressing a press conference at Press Club Burewala here on Friday.
Punjab Rural Doctors Association (PRDA) Provincial President Dr. Javed Haider Joyia along Vehari District Coordinator Dr. Sakhawat Randhawa, Muhammad Saddique Dhillon, Dr. Ayat Ullah Ballu along with Rural Health Employees Association (RHEA) Vehari President Arshad Mahmood Shakeel, Nasir Rafique, Rana Muhammad Shakeel and others in a press conference said that in 12 districts of the Punjab including Rahim Yar Khan, Lodhran, Vehari, Pakpattan, Sahiwal, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Kasur, Miawali, Chakwal, Lahore under they are working under the management of Punjab Rural Support Program (PRSP) “Chief Minister Basic Health Program” initiative and they are performing their duties for many years as they draw their salaries from the concerned district health department and follow their executive orders. Punjab government after meetings with Punjab Rural Doctors Association, Pakistan Medical Association and Yong Doctors Association agreed to regularize them according to the contract employees but some elements in the government machinery to defame the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif have intentionally not submitted their summary for the approval and with held it to deprived them of regularization under the scheme. They alleged that 613 Doctors and thousand of Paramedics have been refrained to get the regularization orders which is injustice as they are working 12 districts 845 Basic Health Units (BHU), 181 District council Dispensaries and GDR and 12 Mother Child Heath Care Units. They demanded of the Punjab Chief Minister to issue their regularization orders and if they have been deprived of their due right then they come on roads to press for their demand. #
