Working on several things at once so not many results at the mo.

table, paper, fittings, a washing machine pump and about 40 meters of 13 mm
irrigation tube laid out on the floor. The intention today was to sort out
the final parts of the drop down deck but inventiveness got the better of
me. So I am sorting out the list of parts for the solar hot water system,
the cost so far is less than $100 so I still have heaps left in the
original $500 budget. Cheap you might say but then that is almost the
whole point, when the project is at the testing stage I shall post results
and specs.
When considering alternative technology systems the philosophy I try to
adhere to is "Could I build this fron crap I find laying around after the
financial system has collapsed" I'm not saying I expect that to happen any
time soon because the powers that be would rather bankrupt us all rather
than let their precious banks fall over.
Went to see my new mate Nathan this arvo, he was telling me about his
uncles magnet motor, I am highly sceptical of such things as free energy
for the obvious reasons, I was always told there was no such thing as a
free lunch and the theory of the conservation of energy backs that up,
nobody breaks the laws of thermodynamics in my house and gets away with it
(nod to Homer Simpson for that one)
Anyhoo, I'm supposed to be out eating wild pig on a spit this evening and
nobody mentioned an entry fee, makes you wonder eh?.
ETA. I suppose evening meals don't count as lunch, technically speaking.
Chur for now.
Steve
Ps. I will post pix soon, I promise. ;-)
