Back on the job

Well, not so much wilderness as heads down and go for it, so much to be done.
Today I installed the pressure pump and all the associated plumbing to a civilised standard, no more dribbling taps and shower. The "garden hose" solar collector is more efficient than I ever expected so the evacuated tube system should be astounding.
One problem. the pressure pump seems to be missing an "O" ring and has a slight leak, not as bad as the leaks from all my plumbing (I really should go back to hemp instead of thread seal tape, at least with hemp the leaks will sort them selves out, hemp expands with moisture thus sealing the leak, not so with teflon tape)
So, update. We now have the 30,000 litre tank online, still feeding from the 36 sq mtr roof via 600 litre tanks and a float switched pump, all solar powered. This is pressurised by a "Commercial Electric" (yes Chinese) pump rated at 680w with a 22 litre pressure tank. The system builds to 3 bar and switches off, re-pressurising when it drops to 1.5 bar.
So far so good.
