Party Month!

September to me is known for the children going back to school and Autumn starts. This year is clearly an age thing. My wifes 40th, a christening, wedding, joint 40th surprise birthday and the top the month off, yes another 40th Party!
Now don't get me wrong, I'm the first in line for a good party, but bloodyhell every weekend !!!! I've forgot what home looks like, even a coffee!
You watch, October and we'll feel lost.
Oh then of course we're into November bomb fire parties and then oh god Christmas!
All I can say is thank god for blackberries. Without my trusty phone I wouldn't have time to read let alone post blogs!!

Just a Moan

Now this may sound like I've completely lost the plot.
I a month of close family birthdays, the most being my wifes 40th. An important event which I and my children wish to celebrate.
So everything is sorted but where to go to eat! Now I know that this may sound nothing but have you ever sat back and thought about where you would want to go with a family to celebrate? The UK has become a split between fast food and all you can eat for a fiver (so long as you like microwaved food). I do not believe that I'm a snob but what's the point in spending good money to eat food that my own dog would turn her noise up to! All the independent restaurants are or about to close (Making away for more all you can eat)
When I was growing up (not that long ago) you would go for a meal and feel special, treated. Ok, yes is wasn't cheap but then you didn't go every week! That's all gone! At this rate there will be nothing out there to make you feel good. That's sad

Sorry for the moan but if nothing else I feel better!

Money

, ,

I wouldn't know if you would class this as a blog or not? This is just a couple of questions that can often show you what a person is really like.

The Friday Euro Millions Jackpot was estimated at £92 Million! Now that's something you can't call pocket change!

My question is ;

What would you do if you won?
And how would it change your life?

Yes I know before you even say, of course it would change your life, but how? Other than material benefits how would it alter you?

For the first year or two I would travel the world with my family, spend, buy the things that I've always wanted. Give a hand to a local charity and set aside an amount for a rainy day. But then what? What would make you get out of bed in the morning? Where would the buzz come from?
Personally I believe that 92 Million pounds is a ridiculous amount of money for one person to win! Why not better the odds and have 92 winners?1 Million afterall is a life changing amount of money.

To end this, I'm interested in the thoughts of others, their real thoughts and well how it would change their life(s).
