... A little light appears.

I just had the misfortune to catch some of The Weakest Link, where some benighted soul announced that one of his life's ambitions had been to meet Ann Robinson. Now, I'm not big on life ambitions, having no real goals, which sometimes seems a bit bleak and pointless, but there you go. However, not having any life ambitions has to beat having one to meet Ann Robinson! Sheesh, my life must be an absolute riot by comparison...

Some people really do have a sad life but then thats the cult of personality that abounds today where people of little talent get elevated to stardom and some are follish enough to put them on a pedastal that should be reserved for the truly great
