Dodgy science and equally dodgy reporting

An article in The Register tells how an academic has shown up yet more overstatement by the IPCC, this time over hurricanes, complete with an "analyse-it-yourself" set of the raw data.

Meanwhile, latest revelations re the Climategate affair show the BBC ignoring one if the major admissions of the main UEA academic (but then I guess it's inevitable coming from Roger Harrabin), so I'll counterbalance that with the missing info, as splashed on the front page of the Express, which isn't exactly my paper-of-choice on any day of the week, but needs must... Especially as someone recently accused me if being "delusional" if thought that there hadn't been any global warming over recent years. Time to eat crow?
