高中的时候 从电脑迷的杂志里的赠送CD中知道了Jimmy eat world，对那是 <The middle>,轻快，舒展，乐观，年轻的感觉。

之后无意中看到了jimmy的打口碟（Bleed American），确切的说是钻眼的，老板当时不认识，两块钱卖给我了，回去那个高兴~

高三的时候，听到了他们的<Futures>,那首Night Drive让我在黑暗中丧失了目标,The World You Love 使我对未来充满了向往。

大一下的时候，我注册了opera博客，那张Futures的封面成为我的头像，我喜欢这种低调，漆黑的夜里缺还有一个可以和别人沟通的电话厅，远处的点点灯光更让我觉得与世隔绝。正如以前，现在的Opera，俗套的说这是种独立，我们是有自己独立思想的人，不随波逐流，有着自己的追求，虽然大部分人根本不了解。

毕业的时候，jimmy eat world 发行了Chase This Light ，那时我已经在家了，已经工作了，jimmy他们也成熟了许多，少了浮躁，多了些思想，没有几首能让人眼前一亮的歌曲，但是每首都是感觉像是为我写的，曲风在变，不变的是主唱的声音，熟悉的鼓声，让人浮想连篇的吉他，还有那些很亲切的东西。


在我分手两周后的现在，听他们的歌，没有了悲伤，但多了些惆怅，但我的心已被他们的旋律梳理的柔顺了.
