About me


I'm Pagan, a Hedge Witch, and follow Scottish/Celtic traditions. I am also Norwegian and have been looking into some Norse traditions, as well. I love to cook (and eat!), and good food is just about the best thing there is. That goes for good, organic Fair Trade coffee and chocolate, especially. In one of my previous incarnations, I was a barista and so typical coffee just won't do, it's gotta be really good, really flavorful coffee. I like the sound of snowflakes falling in a silent wood, and the sound of rustling fall leaves. I'm great at taking care of others, but really bad about taking care of myself. I'm studying to be an herbalist, and hoping that will change. I'm a sucker for pageantry. I have developed a terrible memory and it drives me crazy. Speaking of crazy, I *am*. OCD, Bipolar, PTSD and I have a multitude of anxieties that hang around like demons and imps..Not really- I just like the sound of that, "demons and imps"... Interests? contrasting colors and patterns peculiar rhythms enticing aromas odd juxtapositions persistent strange thoughts half-remembered tunes ruminating anxieties half-forgotten dreams creating community+sensual food+writing+chronic illness+mental "illness"+zines+roadtrips+coffee+chocolate+mountains,trees,ocean,sky+ mothering+feminism+herbalism+compassion+homeschooling+scotland+ousting Bush+music+freedom+self sufficiency+giant squid+treading lightly upon the earth+...stuff like that.
