Tampa Bay Rays

, ,

For those who are following the World Series baseball games, this must be their youngest and shortest fan. The little guy so intently watching the game is a kitten brought to us by our neighbor just before we left for Canada.

We didn't like to leave the kitten, he was badly malnourished and we weren't sure how the other cats would treat him in our absence, so after a quick trip to the vet for shots, he made the trip too.
So, he's not just a baseball fan, he's an international traveller that remembers his loyalty to Tampa Bay!

I love Inkproducts.comHappy Halloween Everyone!

Good for him. For once somebody is at the right place at the right time.

Lois 27. October 2008, 20:51

Thanks Allan, he watched from the sofa for awhile, but when the game got interesting, he had to jump down for a closer look!

Allan 27. October 2008, 20:56

That too - but what I mean is that he's at your place when he needs it most

That is a beautiful cat! Blue eyes, right? Or green?

Off topic:

I see you have a lot of vinyl. Do you also have a record player for them?

Lois 28. October 2008, 00:13

Thanks everyone!
Actually, I'm at my Mum and Dad's house in Toronto, and that's where the photo was taken. They have a record player from many years back, but as far as I know, it's still functioning.
I understand what you mean about the cat. I'm very happy that our trip was delayed and we were there to receive him.
Star, he has greenish-yellow eyes, very playful and hungry all the time!

Thanks very much!!
I would love to come up and see you! We're always in such a rush, getting to where the equipment is to be installed, then rushing home to start on the next one. I'm hoping we can have occassion to do some business up your way soon. It would be awesome to see your family and all your critters in person!!!

Adele 28. October 2008, 19:30

Awww! How sweet! :cat:

Foot, the cat that I'm caring for, has taken to sitting on my lap and staring hard at the computer screen, but whether she can read blogs, I do not know!

Lois 28. October 2008, 20:43

She might!! You never know how smart they are. I was just reading "Inside Animal Minds" in an old issue of National Geographic - pretty interesting. http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/2008/03/animal-minds/virginia-morell-text/3

Adele 28. October 2008, 20:52

Thanks! That made for a cool read  Animals are so much clever than we give them credit for.

Talking of smart animals, have you seen this? Wolves are just incredible; the more time I spend around them, the more I appreciate that.

Lois 28. October 2008, 21:03

That story was awesome!!

Eliane a/k/a Elly 28. October 2008, 21:07

Wonderful shot, Lois! I have a cat that likes to watch TV too...sometimes it's more entertaining to watch her than to see what's on the screen!
