Mother's Day

I had an AWESOME Mother's Day!!
My daughter and son-in-law, along with their little son and soon-to-be-born daughter took us out for lunch at Sharkey's on the Pier at Venice!
We had a wonderful lunch, walked on the pier and then took a walk along the beach while my grandson and daughter played in the waves and made sand castles. We had such a great time, it reminded both my daughter and I of many happy hours on Lake Huron at my parent's cottage, the kids playing in the waves and warming up on the sand.
We saw dolphins and water birds, lots of people fishing and swimming in the beautiful warm water. We ended up with a little sunburn, but it was worth it all. What an amazing day!!!
