This was really cool. There is a large glass tank probably about 10 feet wide and an inch or so thick. It is separated into columns and bubbles are released from the bottom. At first, we were looking at it close up and thought there might be some pattern to the bubbles, then we stepped back. There was a camera and you could take your own picture, then it would be translated into bubbles and your image would appear in bubbles!
First picture shows the tank, second is a close up of the bubbles. Third picture is me!!

Art Studio in Toronto

While we were waiting for our cruise on the tall ship to leave, we spent some time at an art studio near the waterfront. There were some wonderful artists, the pictures describe it better than I can.

I'm not sure about the significance of the fingers. If they are offensive, I apologize.

Tall Ships

,

While we were in Toronto and Arthur was busy working, my Mum & Dad took me to the waterfront and we sailed on one of the tall ships. The ship we were on was the "Kajama", a three masted cargo schooner built in Germany and launched on July 26, 1930 from Hamburg. It was in operation from 1930 until 1960. In the mid 70's it was converted to motor driven, but restored to it's orinial profile on 1999. It was a fantastic ride, the crew did everything to make us all welcome, even asking some of the passengers to help raise and lower the sails. The view of the Toronto skyline was magnificent and I was interested to see a lot of the landmarks that until then, I had only seen from land. Last photo is my Mum & Dad.
