Journey
I will be having a busy Saturday and Sunday this week (not work related matters).
On Saturday, I have Stevie and Angela's wedding in the old church building at 10 am, then proceed for the wedding luncheon at Le Meridian KL at 1 pm. In the evening, I will be heading off to my college friend's wedding in Puchong.
On Sunday, I will be in church in the morning followed by another of my friend's wedding in the evening.

Work, Journey
It isn't an enjoying time going to work each day with nothing to do for more than 2 months. Although it may be a good period to refresh and recharge, it is depressing if someone has nothing to do for a long period of time.
At the moment, I am reading accounting standards and business articles to utilize my time. I don't know whether I can do this continually if the long period of no work continues.

Journey
I had been thinking, planning and praying about my career direction for the last 2 months. It is a challenging process in deciding which option should I take. I felt frustrated for being unable to decide the career option.
I do realised that trusting God and waiting for His kairos timing is more important than planning the small details of my next move. After all, He knows how to give good gifts to His children. Of course at times it is easier said than done.
Back at my department, I had not been working on a project since mid-July. It is quite depressing for me especially when I am unable to put my brains to its best use and hence improving my competency further.

Journey
A servant only knows the tasks or jobs that the master entrusted to Him; a son knows the entire plan of the Master.
A servant is accepted based on how he performs; a son is accepted on his relationship with the Father.
A servant is focused on how and what to do; a son is focused on who he is in the Father.

Journey, Church Events
I attended my church Young Adults Camp in Lanjut Resort which is located at Rompin, Pahang. The camp is entitled 24 because we have 24 hours in a day and we are constantly challenged with pressures from work, studies, church activities and TAWG with God.
I had high expectations for the Camp and I am glad that all of the expectations were fulfilled. It was I my mind to sign up for this Camp.
I was reading a book written by Neil Andersen entitled "When Trying Harder Isn't Enough". There was a bible verse that caught my attention from Matthew 11:28 - Come to me who are weak and weary and I will give you rest. This verse has been on my mind for the entire one month period prior to attending the Camp.

Work
I had been enduring very cold temperature in my department area for the past 1 week. At that rate this is going, I think many people will be down with a flu pretty soon. I planned to wear a sweater next week.

Journey
I finally had some quality time last Saturday and Sunday to ponder and strategize for my future directions. It was not a straight forward or easy process to do.
I took some time to quiet down myself and read through many career & business articles. Besides, I reflected what I had achieved during my 6.5 years of working in 2 large audit firms. I considered the sucesses and setbacks over the years and also the good and unpleasant experiences. What I now realized is the need to search my heart deeply as to where and what I want to be and the necessity to get back to secret place where I can hear God speak clearly.
I am bit frustrated with this deadlock in decision making. But for now I trust in God's timing.

Church Events
After a time of praise and worship on a Saturday morning, Dr. Timothy Sng (a renowned neurologist from SIBKL) delivered the first sermon entitled God at Work. The following are some of the takeaway points:
1) We are unique and special to God
2) God is using us as His vessels to impact the market place
3) The SEEDS principle:
S = Sow and share the Word
E = Encourage and Enable Others
E = Engage the tougher ones
D = Defend the faith
S = Shine for Jesus
