Quietness and Trust - Isaiah 30:15

I was reading a passage from Isaiah 30 yesterday. I felt that God was speaking to me from Isaiah 30:15
This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: "In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength but you would have none of it
How true the verse is to me. April was a hectic month for me without much time to reflect on God and seeking His face. It was also an emotionally draining period for me.
Yesterday was one of my productive time alone with God. Experienced that in the quietness of my heart and thoughts is where God really speaks, ministers and even offer strength in my time of need. I experienced that my strength is renewed and a peace that surpasses all understanding grips my soul only when I learn how to be still before the Lord.
Another thing that I realize is our life direction and calling tends to breakdown or lose focus especially when we are too busy trying and trying to work out our dreams and ambitions instead of finding stillness in God. There are times when we need to stop trying to work things out in our own strength and let God be God in our lives.
