Exactly What Is A 4G Network And Is There One Available Now?

When will the 4G network really be available? Well, there's been talk of this for some time. Like going from 2G to 3G you will see numerous update and new functions along with a 4G network. T-Mobile, one of the leading cell phone companies, has guaranteed to come out with the first 4G network. However, there has not been a release to how long it will likely be before it is available.
The truth is no one currently has a nationwide 4G network, despite claiming that they do. As with any prior networking criteria, the 4G network standard was decided on an international level by a body called the International Telecommunication Union. This particular body has discussed, in conjunction with major service providers and technology developers the requirements and requirements that a 4G device as well as network should meet.
At this time, there is not a real 4G network available. T-mobile promises to have a 4G network; even so, it doesn't provide all of the advantages that the 4G network is going to have. It's faster though, and has some of the same functions.
It is interesting to notice that AT&T Mobile run exactly the same standard on the same kind of network as T-Mobile do, but without the 4G claims. Others too currently have upgraded their own operations to higher operating speeds in order to compete effectively, without making the false claims.
How will a 4G network be better than a 3G network? The high speed cellular internet is the greatest difference. The speed will be up to 1GBit - and even though speeds are increasing, it's something which no network can perform that at this time.
This network is going to be totally internet protocol (IP) based. This means that even calls will be transmitted on a single line, rather than using two individual ways of carrying the actual network data. Data transfer is going to also be seamless; which means that you'll have less dropped calls simply because companies can share their cell towers.
What will occur because these claims have already been made prematurely? A lot of customers are going to be misled and subscribe to the technology which cannot be given. Some people will like the higher speed that is available, but others will question why T-Mobile can yet again launch a 4G network when technology catches up, and the standards will be implemented.
The false claims are now being made to take customers from other companies that do not claim they have the 4G network available yet. A lot of people will be wise enough to determine this technology is not yet available and won't fall for the false claims.
There will probably be a worse issue when the real 4G network is available on the market. At this time you will have to purchase a new phone which will work with the upgrades that are available now. However, the chance that this phone will work with the real 4G system is slim in order to none - that is likely to make people rather upset!
Have 4G Networks Truly Been Created?
