be the captain of soul and master of my fate

City

It drained some years ago
With a vein aglow
Glass boxes lost their reflection in rivers
Moving monster's sirens mute beavers
On a windy night growling
An old man was crying

How shall i let u know, my boy dearest
What is lake, and what is forest

Capain, you are a deeply and finely feeling man! It is another remarkable and sagacious slice of real life. It reminds me of a conversation between a mom and her child about the colour of the sky.

Well, with the development of rapid urban expansion, more and more arable land was encroached for commerical purposes. Inevitably, some social and environmental problems loom large while economic progress achieved. I think the tone my poem conveys somehow presents the growing concerns of many people around us.
Thx for ur appreciation, Angel.
