We still have no news from Asure Formation regarding the English part of the Master.
At the beggining we were supposed to create a blog like this one but since july we don't know anymore what to do. That is the reason why I haven't written anything during the summer.
I hope all the work I have done till now will be taken into account since it took me time to do it

I sometimes have to present data to an English audience. So i decided to follow a course on "how to talk in public" in English.
Yesterday was the first course with an English teacher who teaches at CERAM Executive Business school in Sophia Antipolis. The lesson was very interesting.
We studied the "body language" and tried to see what were our worst drawbacks when speaking to an audience.

She also gave us some tricks to write our slides.

WORK
Today took place our bi-annual BoD (Board of Directors meeting) in Aalborg (Denmark).
Before this meeting we usually have tasks groups meetings (where is done the "real work" where we try to find ways to implement the directors decisions and policy...)
I am part of the Human Resources and Finance task group
The board of directors represents the interets of the ERCIM members.
To attend this meeting I had to read many reports written in english.
These papers are strategy, management, structure, legal, finances and human resources 'reports.
We had a very interesting presentation from Weigel Walter, Director-General of the European Telecommunications Standards (ETSI):
