Psalms of My Heart

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to You - Psalms 19:14

Chapter 221: What Happened This Morning?

My car broke down this morning!

I was supposed to collect some stock from Jaya One, and then rush to the Curve outlet to open the store at 9.30 a.m., only to I found out that I couldn't shift my car gears at all! At that point of time, I knew I was doomed to be late for work.

Why must this things happen to me all the time!?

Without further ado, I immediately messaged and called my afternoon manager to swap shift with me. He eventually picked up the phone, but was clearly in a sleeping mode. He mumbled a few words, and then put down the phone.

In my mind, I was thinking, "Did he actually get what I was trying to say to him?"

At the same time, my mind was diverged - thinking about how I could get my car fixed as soon as possible. So I called my insurance company, towed my car to the workshop and got it fixed right on the spot. Thank God that I met an honest mechanic who did not charged me at all for the service.

Apparently, my gear box were stuck due to water, because I went through a flood at Section 14 last night. In case you didn't know, it was raining very heavily around midnight. It could have been worse, but God was on my side

Just when I thought one problem was solved, another one surfaced like a sore to the eye because: The afternoon manager was not able to make it to work on time!

Die lor... How?!

I am quite certain that many people, including our customers must be wondering, "What has happened to Coffee Bean?" as they walk pass my outlet :ko:

To cut the long story short, the outlet was opened 1.5 hours late, my life was spared by my superiors, and I could not make it for Revival Watch.

What a day it has been!
