Cell, Thanksgiving, God, Botswana
I am so excited about cell this Friday!
Last week, God gave an increase to the cell by bringing in 6 Botswana students from Sunway College. I heard from Sue, the students are planning to bring in another bunch this Friday.
It is going to be fun, fun, fun!
We tried to plan out everything last Friday, like who would be doing games, worship, and word, but the cell dynamics just went spinning 180 degrees - it felt so much like an International Cell!
Jo-na-na-jo!
I realised that I cannot run the cell like how it used to be already.
Gone are the old, for the new has come!
Oh Lord, give me wisdom!

Cell, Board Games
While waiting for the girls: Sarah, Esther and Cecy to arrive, we started off the night with a coin game called Fight! It was a fun and simple game for a small group of five, with lots of sly money changing.
Ostensibly, we all looked like big-time gamblers because we were throwing money on the table.
*Shakes head* Cason, you really sucked in this coin game
Alas everyone came, including 'limping' Jon, who injured his leg during basketball, and we proceeded with our board games lineup for the night: Taboo! and Blokus. I was too excited about winning that I totally FORGOT that my leg was actually injured *ouch*
Haha, what an exciting night for Cason and team!
Firstly, Team 1 thrashed Team 2 in Taboo...
Sorry guys, we accidentally beat you by 2 points *hehe*
Then my group trio conquered the Blokus battlefield...
GG, what an exhilarating game. I think I have damaged some brain cells tonight *stress-nya*
P.S: Thank you, Andrew for anchoring everything!

Cell, Random, Iron Man, Tired
...
It is only halfway through the weekend, and I am already all worked-out!
Compared to during high school, I think my 'lepaking' skills has downgraded.
Let's start with Friday night:
Cell was exciting because this week was a combined prayer walk around Subang and Sunway colleges - Taylor's, INTI, Metropolitan, SEGi, Sunway College, Monash University, and Mentari Court. Besides, we went with two other happening Subang college cells - Dorothy' and Amanda's. So about 40-50 over people turned up at the shop lot that night. Totally insane in the membrane.
However, to be honest, I was exhausted that night.
That same morning, I drove back from Ipoh at 5 a.m, came back home and took an LRT to Sheraton Imperial for my PGL session at 9 a.m, went back to office to get my security access card, and drove to my client place after that. By the time I reached at my client's office, I am officially dead. To add to my misery, I only slept for one hour the previous night. So imagine how dazed I was
Not only that, I even manage to exert extra energy to do supper and have a cyber session with my cellies. I must be running on my reserves.
A side note: I sucked at Counterstrike, but not as bad as Jon!
Both of us kena tah pau-ed by Matt and Tim the whole time, but it was all in good fun. At least, I enjoyed myself. I am sure it will be a different story if it was Quake 3 or Unreal Tournament!
By the time we left Asia Cafe, it was already 2 a.m. - way, way pass my bedtime.
Come Saturday, I was still recovering from the vestige of Friday's fatigue. In fact, I was either stoning, or being really restless the whole time. I even received a remark from Jason saying, "Why you looked so stoned?" in church today
(In my heart) I surely know why...
Iron Man.
Did I mentioned Iron Man?
Yes, I-R-O-N M-A-N!
...that Proton-Cannon-wielding, infinite combo, red alien-looking robot in Marvel v Capcom!
It is such a fun show to watch, that I won't mind watching it for the second time.
P.S: Thank you Jon for the ticket, especially on a Saturday night!

Work, Colgate, Palmolive, Cell
I cannot believe that today is Friday!
Time really does flies; probably because this has been a better week compared to the others.
For the past 3 days, I have been placed in Colgate-Palmolive (CP) for my audit. It was a delight because the office is only a few steps away from my apartment and church! This means that I could wake up later than usual, and be able to reach church on time after work. Everything seemed to work quite well, except for yesterday morning, when I received a car park summon from MBPJ.
So much for waking up late for work *grrrr*
Working in CP was quite an eye-opening experience, as I was given the chance to visit the manufacturing plant on my 2nd day of work! For the first time, I get to see how soaps, detergents and other liquid products were made - Palmolive shower gels, Axion Gel, Fabuloso, Dynamo, Softlan and Glo (just to name a few). The output rate for the factory is relatively high as well; producing approximately 120 finished goods per minute...24 hours non-stop!
That is 172,800 of finished goods per day!
One thing that really surprised me is that this CP factory does not produce Colgate toothpaste at all. So where does all our toothpaste come from? The answer is: CHECK YOUR TOOTHPASTE BOX!
I will be leaving from work at 6.30 p.m sharp today. Normally, I do not get to leave so early (at least 8.30 p.m). This means that I will have enough time to wash up, rest, have a proper dinner, pray, and prepare myself for cell tonight. All glory and praise to Jesus!
My heart is throbbing in anticipation for a good weekend already - can't wait!

Cell, Prayer, God, Spirituality
I am beginning to see God revealing great things in the cell - like flipping pages of a Crichton novel.
...eyes gripped on every word
...and heart pulsates with each turn
However, it is no longer a fiction novel...
It is an autobiography, handwritten by God Himself.
I pray that God will open our spiritual eyes to see the mighty works that You have begun in the cell. Compel us to join You in Your works, and be part of Your divine plans - purely through love, and not obligated by duty. Take the cell into greater heights and altitudes, and increase our capacity to do more of Your works. As said in Zechariah 4:6, it is only by Your Spirit, not by our own might or power. Because of that, we can never boast of our achievements and deeds, because all good things come from You. With that, I am thankful. Amen
