Yep as the title says.....NOW IT STARTS....what starts.......STRESS!!...My beautiful girl got engaged last weekend.I have had a hectic week with work and the announcement and have now got over the initial shock. well it wasn't really a shock as they have been dating for nearly 4yrs now but never the less you know it is going to happen but when it does it does shock to a point.So let the stress begin...lmao.....I am holding the engagement party here on june 7th and Kira has told me the guest list is about 100...WooooooHooooooo can't wait!!!...ARGH!!!....she wants it to be an afternoon thing from 2-6 so finger food is on the menu so that won't be too bad.I am not too bad when it comes to organising a party as long as i have notice so i have 5 weeks to do it.The wedding date is set ...march 7th....so whilst we r organising the engagement there are wedding things to also be organised.....last week every damm morning Kira gets up and starts...."hey mum what about this '?? and "yes we will do this with that"...I am not real talkative in the morning, i just open my eyes and she starts....I'm like...'what are we talking about?...the wedding or engagement?'..Geezuz but i'm sure i will hear more yet but i have had to make the rule...let me wake up and have a coffee first at least........

Ok...the above was written during the week so i have an update.....MY FEET FRIGGIN KILL!!..went wedding dress shopping today and i have to say it was great! first stop found "the dress"...think i was just lucky...or kira was more to the point i guesss.So then we ended up shopping for things for the engagement party and few bits for the wedding as well.Checked out the reception place and think at this stage things are going ok....just have to dig deep as they say.Spending the day tomorrow making cd's of music for the engagement...we want lounge ambiance music.cheers
