Lincoln Model United Nations 2007

Last weekend I participated in Lincoln Model United Nations (such busy weeks this week and the last one are, with all math portfolio, English presentations, and stuffs... going on!)
I represented China in the Commission of Human Rights, on the topic of Guantanamo Bay. It was really fun, much funnier than I expected. The UNCHR didn't join the world trade game, however we and the Statues of Women had an emergency situation together on the last day. WTO had emergency situations on ALL days, and they also had the World Trade Game! Not fair!
China was so engaged in ALL of the emergency situations in ALL the committees ( and none of them was positive). In my case, a drug company in China had developed a Cervical cancer vaccine, which later turned out to have serious and terrible side effects, such as mutations in newborn babies; and this situations had spread from China to Mexico and Brazil... Me and Tanya were attacked many times by the two guys representing US, who afterwards asked for sanctions from us. Not good for China - the country - ,yeah, but good for us. We had fun defending ourselves and making up stuffs about the company and the government =)
We UWCCR were the best delegations of all other 7 schools and we'd got a cake for that... =) All of us and Giselle, and the driver's family all had pizza together at pizza hut as dinner; and David ( our head of delegations) gave a very nice speech. Everybody was so inspired by the experience, and has developed the habit of saying "point of order", "point of personal priviledge", and silly votes ("all those in favor raise you placards")on silly things... whenever possible.
Oh, by the way, as we were about to leave the Lincoln School, we saw a very nice sky. Here it is.
