As For the Rest of the Middle East....

- Russian President Vladimir Putin sends secret service to find and destroy the terrorists who murdered 4 Russian diplomats earlier this week. I told you this was coming; its too bad he didn't widen his targets to all terrorists and terror-supporting countries. Doubts that anyone will complain about this, as opposed to Israel's targeted assassinations.

- Norm links to a disgusting piece of writing. The author says America's mission in Iraq is flawed because resistance to an occupying power is natural, and that resistance leads troops to mistrust and kill civilians. He misses the point that the resistance is responsible for the vast majority of civilian deaths, either directly by terrorist attacks or their brave use of human shields.
- In prpaganda news, we learn that Arabs never hated America. We also learn that Iranian experts don't know much about Iran except what Iran feeds them. We also learn that those mean Israelis locked up health services advocate...and wannabe suicide bomber.
- The BBC refuses to follow panel recommendations to use the word "terrorist" to describe those who target and murder civilians.
- Bush blinked on Iran, ignoring his own words and policies. Richard Perle blames the State Deparment.
- Larry Kudlow thinks oil prices will not increase. Supplies and reserves are high, price may drop to $50.
- Cindy goes on a hunger strike! Thank God, she needs to lose poundage.
- What's wrong with this picture?

Hi Chris, no I don't doubt that anyone will complain about Russia getting those who killed those 4 Russian diplomats, but then again they complain when either the U.S. or Israel would take that kind of stance.

Contrast Hidatha with bombings that killed 300 police recruits in Iraq; Hidatha is assumed to be true because American troops are involved. The murder of 300 civilians is ignored because terrorists committed the crime. It's insane.

But, Chris, Bush ignores human rights...all he is concerned about are his Texas Oil cronies.
Maybe they would give him a pass if he held a conference to tell the media he was sending the entire 82nd Airborne out on a mission to locate and annihilate those involved with kidnapping and killing Private Menchaca and Private Tucker.
A press conference like that would at least cause a few terrorists to piss their pants.
