Yet More Photos

Update: CQ wrote the post that I would write if I was less shrill and had more credibility. It makes all of the same points, but is well written. He even found an NBC reporter who said not to believe the media:

Reporting has been so inconsistent, if you really want to know what is going on, check out all the networks -- broadcast and cable -- as well as print sources and the Internet. Otherwise, you will never know if you are getting the straight scoop on the confusing Israeli-Hezbolla imbroglio.

I suck.

I keep thinking this story will go to the backburner, but Allah and the other bloggers keep digging up more dirt. And one made it to the cover of US News...a staged photo of a Jihadi pretending to shoot at Israelis when he is actually at a tire fire at a garbage dump.

Layers of editorial oversight.

Zombie has a primer showing the various ways photos are faked and staged, and looks at possible reasons for it. Note his final example.

The Jawas think Adnan Hajj was collecting 2 paychecks, using 2 names, from Reuters. The evidence isn't conclusive, but firing Adnan without firing Issam is a waste of time since they file identical photos. Jawa also has a carnival of Reuter-ized photos. Most are hillarious.

A look at the Left's view of the Reuters Affair.

Update: A final wrap-up of the Qana story. Bookmark it for future reference; like Jenin, it will be trotted out in the future as an example of Israeli brutality.

Update: Final? Yeah, right. I forgot to link this slow-mo video of the Qana body display for the media.
