Years ago men used to always choose younger women as their mates in a relationship. Today however the roles have somehow been reversed and you now tend to see younger men with much older women.
This is more evident in high profile relationships such as the Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore relationship. There are quite a few reasons why younger men may opt for an older woman in a relationship.
It could be something as simple a wanting somebody in the relationship that he can talk to about on a serious level.
If you are one of those men that feel that a relationship should include meaningful conversations, and that you have not managed to get this with women of your own age then perhaps a relationship with an older woman is the right thing for you.
Older women may like their conversations to be about such things as politics, what the future has in store or many other serious topics. However the younger women may like to talk about today's celebrities or fashion styles. If you are a younger man and like serious discussions then you are going to opt for an older woman.
Some older women like to run a more traditional style house than their younger counterparts. The more mature woman may be used to the idea of the man fixing the problems in the house while they prepare the meals. Many older women have grown up with this stereotypical type of gender role and as such are more accustomed to it. So if this type of household is what you seek then an older woman is just the thing for you.
Just because an older woman may be brought up to run the household this way it does not mean that she does not have her own feminist views though. An older woman may still believe in her equal rights but you should already know this if you have considered having a relationship with an older woman.
Finally the older woman may also be far more experienced in matters of the bedroom. Not to say that some younger women aren't experienced but the more mature woman has been around a lot longer and probably picked up a few tricks to show you.
