Annabel began asking the ghost what his name was and why he was in this shed and had not moved on. The ghostly spirit told Annabel that his name was Albert, and that he had been the owner of the house before the present family had moved in. He had died from a heart attack whilst working in his shed.
He also informed Annabel that the shed was where he had spent most of his time in his later life; his shed was his pride and joy and when he had passed on, he had decided that this is where he wanted to stay.
As I stood noting this information from Annabel, I felt what could only be described as a small gust of wind blowing in front of my face. Now this could simply be the cold winds that were blowing outside the shed, if it hadn't have been for Annabel telling me that Albert had just brushed past in front of me.
Albert was happy being in the shed and liked to see the family playing in the garden, however, he was sorry that he scared the little girl and of the rest of the family by being there. He asked us if it would be okay for him to stay there in the shed, if he promised not to scare the family anymore.
As I was recording Annabel with the camcorder, I picked up some light anomalies that seemed to float around her head, before disappearing. I called out to the ghost to see if he could do this again for us, and amazingly he did! I was very pleased by all this, as it had been recorded on camera.
We asked him to move to some of the tools in the shed for us, but alas nothing seemed to happen. We spent a few more hours around the shed, apart from a few more orbs, nothing else was seen. There also seemed to be nothing we managed to pick up on the Dictaphone aside from our own voices.
I told the family of our findings, and about Albert's request about staying in the shed. They were happy to know what was going on, and agreed that as long as Albert was fine, and that he was no danger, then they would let the ghost spirit stay.
This was not the most active of locations we had visited, but certainly one of the more cheerful stories that I have been able to write about.
