Tranvia Mexico Distrito Federal

El dia de hoy se dio a conocer el nuevo Tranvia (modernizado) que circulará en determinadas rutas del centro de la ciudad de Mexico Distrito Federal despues de mas de 40 años del ultimo Tranvia. Mas o menos por los años 60 y 70 se vieron circulando los ultimos tranvias en la ciudad. Este Tranvia circulará estara en las calles hasta Septiembre de 2010.
After 40 years Mexico (Distrito Federal only) will have in the streets a new Tranvia working until 2010 to the future but right now you can see this train model in the Zocalo of the city.

Finally, the streetcars will be back in Mexico City. What where we thinking when we got rid of one of the cheapest, most efficient ways to move people around?
p.s. I guess G.M. Standard Oil and Goodyear had something to do with it.
