World Water Day

Another World something day has hit us. I wonder if there are some calendars out with all world special days in it, it wouldn't make a difference but it may be nice to have.
Apart from electricity water may be the one thing that only crosses your mind when it's gone.
If you are living in the so called first world - you may not have any problems getting water to a reasonable price - hell its cheap enough to run down our toilets. But think again - we are in times were everything is going from the public authority to (small) companies, who are able to do the same job as the public but cheaper. I wonder how this is achieved without lowing the level or quality of service. So water providers are already popping up on the free market, and water is going to be another chemical compund that is shared on our commodity markets. There is no difference between a few tons of water and a few tons of Sulphuric acid, at least people can't live off Sulphuric acid ...
So when the same thing happens with water that has happened to the now free electricity or gas market, especially in Germany, we are all going to pay a lot more for water. This means of course that regions with water water scarcity will be a lot more in debt, than they are already.
