Out of the way

At the end of a painful day of discussions, I am writing to defend the way I decided to try and resolve a simple naming issue. And lo and behold, my kind colleagues the photo of the action figure - thanks Doug.

As Chris Wilson wrote recently, chairing a Working Group at W3C isn't something anybody does for fun (because there isn't much involved). It is easy to do it wrongly, and difficult to have time to do it right. (I actually signed up to be a junior co-chair, before the other chair left standardisation work...). Lucky for me, WebAPI is a pretty nice group in general, with few really unpleasant issues and some people who actually do a goodly amount of work. And they were kind enough to find more pictures of chaals chairing.

And now it's time to figure out where people can eat dinner...
