A couple more books...

JPod - Douglas Copeland

A group of people work in a Vancouver office making a computer game. It's called the JPod because their names all begin with J (except one, who is there by mistae. It doesn't matter, you can't get moved from the JPod. You just learn to do crazier things, and run up against crazy people getting crazier. And Even crazier people, getting sane. Or not. Made me laugh, made me recognise lots of things, made me wonder where Douglas Copeland gets his tobacco and what he puts in his tea.

The undercover Economist - Tim Harford

In many ways more interesting than Freakonomics, which was the book that motivated me to read this one. Harford tals in siple terms about what economists do - which is figure out what people want, and what that implies for some question or other about how people will behave. An interesting and well-reasoned read, easily introducing the idea with fascinating examples such as why China is rich and what is wrong with some environmental legislation, and some interpretations of economics.

Paris - very far outRide on, Walk on, keep going...
