Ordago...

The Ordago project is playing for everything. Grande and Chica literally means the big one and the girl, Par is pair, and Juego is game. These are most of the basics of Mus.
So, Órdago is normally about cards, but for me it is also about life. Miel and I made an Órdago bet with the universe. And we didn't really know how to play Mus, or whether our cards were any good.
But in Maraña project, Luis reminded Eva and taught me, and we got to play with Eva's dad, who has played before. The only problem is that as well as all the official parts of the game, we had a few important bits of our own. Like calling "quiero" when the cards didn't seem to justify it... I think he thought we are a bit mad. But then, we are - and it was good to finally get to play Mus with Alfredo.
I am still a guiri - but I can sit in a bar in Maraña and play mus, and if I am not yet an expert at least "me defiendo", and I get most of what goes on. Well, for some of the señas I am a bit hopeless still, but I am learning. (Always in life I am learning.)
