On the road again...

, ,

A bunch of upcoming travel. SxSW where I get to watch my sister's new film, Azerbaijan and Mozambique (two new countries in a week), Boston, and a brief stop at home. That's what the rest of March looks like...

I just updated my intranet calendar, with the travel I have planned in the next month. And there are a lot of days full.

I am chairing a panel, and participating in another, at South by SouthWest, the film-music-IT-fest in Austin Texas. The Browser Wars III panel is one I know, and I guess I have some idea what to expect. But I am also chairing a panel on the Mobile Web in the Developing World. Since we haven't run this before, I don't know what kind of audience to expect - so if you are planning to turn up, feel free to let me know what you're interested in

Another bonus is that I get to see Lake Mungo - a film my sister produced (and if you are looking to buy it in Australia, she is the person to contact  ). It was finished a while ago, but I haven't yet seen it, so I am going to see it there on Friday night at its US première.

I get to come home briefly after that, but then I turn around for another trip to the US, where W3C is having the twice-yearly meeting of member organisations. From there I go to Oslo, and more or less immediately get on a plane to attend BarCamp Azerbaijan. From there I have a long long long trip to Maputo, in Mozambique, where W3C is running a workshop on the African perspective for how the Mobile Web can help the Developing World.

And after that, I am going home and staying there for a while. I am looking forward to that, big-time

Latterly...Turbo in Texas
