64th anniversary of Indonesia :)

MERDEKA! 
Today's 64th annivesary of my beloved Indonesia. It's something un-describe-able as there are many warriors and younger sipils dead in d war 64 years ago. Fighting for our revolution; that can be enjoyed till now. Maybe there are still many arguments about the real meanings of a revolution that maybe can't be enjoyed by them; whoever asking that. However, i'm glad i live in this era, as war no longer exist as much as then. We could live peacefully. Well, i know its still not ALL of us. But the condition of d world is better than before somehow.
There's always a celebation for every anniversary. But, for this anniversary, there are MANY celebrations. yes. It's done in every country where Indonesians live. It's always a merahputih (*read: redwhite) day this August. In outside Indonesia mostly done in Consulate, it's something that i really proud of because no matter where we live, we still also celebrate it. We are ONE
In my house, it was celebrated last night. There were many competitions that already held since 2 weeks ago. Last nite was d big nite. Time to perform, doorprizes, giving gifts to the winners, and last but actually the most important thing here; gathering. You can never know unless u were there, all d tired n sweats teaching so many lil kids singing, acting, n even dancing were payed off last nite. The stage performers were great. n i really proud of them. They have the spirit of this togetherness, keeping Indonesia as one.
