Being a first time mom at such a young age really made me feel at some point that I'd have to change everything about me. My weird expressive habits and of course everything that goes along with being in my early twenties. I honestly bought into the whole now you'll have to dress appropriately, grow your hair, listen to different music, become obsessively religious etc etc - and for a while there I tried fittig the ideal mould of being a mother. But then it dawned on me - my daughter is growing up in a world where you're either yourseld regardless or you check out #L0L - and if her mother, her only rolemodel points her in the wrong direction on how to be just yourself, then she won't survive without me at all. So, I woke up yesterday, went to the hairdresser and shaved my hair into a MoHawk ... Now, I'm sitting back while watching and waiting for the other B.S to dissapear and for the real me to return. This blog will document exactly how much different parenting becomes when you're just yourself. All the requirements and expectations out there in the world - excluded this time. (-^,)
