My Only New Year's Resolution

It’s a brand new year! Welcome to 2013! If you’ve made resolutions for the New Year, I hope they’re going well for you. I made just one but it’s a really big one. I want to increase my income by adding various streams of income rather than just having a single stream from a full time job.

Anyone who knows me already knows how much I like to travel around the world so it should come as no big surprise to them to hear me say I’m looking into becoming an at-home travel agent. As it turns out it’s not that difficult to become one and as I said, I’d be working from home.

Outside Agent Link is a complete home-based travel agency program created by Thomas Hogan Travel; a full service accredited travel agency, located in Myrtle Beach, SC. Thomas Hogan Travel is an associate member of the largest travel franchise company, Travel Leaders. They supply all of the training for
becoming an at-home travel agent. The program is perfect for existing travel agents, corporate salespersons and executives looking for a new, low stress career that want to work from home on their own schedule and aggressive and eager self-starters who have always dreamed of owning their own travel agency, but thought they could never afford to do so.

If you’re interested in pursuing this like I was just get in touch with me and I’ll give you more information about it. I expect it’s going to make a huge difference in my income level for 2013.

This Could be My Next Vehicle

Have you heard about the new compressed natural gas cars? I’m pretty excited about the whole idea about breaking free from fossil fuels. Surprisingly enough other countries seem to be ahead of us on this movement. For most people in this country their grip seems to still be tightly fixed on petro and that goes for the car manufacturers too. And that’s where the change really needs to start.

While existing gasoline-powered vehicles can be converted to allow the use of compressed natural gas, an increasing number of compressed natural gas cars are being manufactured. They have an edge over the converted vehicles in how they provide for CNG storage. Natural gas must be stored in cylinders and these cylinders are usually located in the vehicle's trunk, reducing the space available for other uses, particularly during long distance travel. This problem can be solved in factory-built CNGs that install the tanks under the body of the vehicle, thanks to a more rational disposition of components, leaving the trunk free.

Other benefits of using compressed natural gas in vehicles are that emissions are cleaner than with petro and CNG does not corrode the engine and other parts of a vehicle as quickly as gasoline does.

The biggest challenge presented by cars running on natural gas seems to be obtaining the gas itself. Fueling stations are still few and far between. But CNG vehicles can be refueled anywhere from existing natural gas lines so this makes home refuelling stations that tap into such lines possible.

Lowcountry Conservation Properties

You may have heard of Lowcountry Conservation Properties with regards to conservation easements. “Conservation” is defined as the long-term preservation and protection of the natural environment, ensuring that the natural habitat of an area is maintained for many reasons, including preserving ecological diversity and unique cultural and historic resources, as well as keeping our beautiful vistas.

All Lowcountry Conservation Properties are parcels of land with or without buildings that contain forests and wetlands, plants, animals or other wildlife worth preserving from future development. Buyers of these properties should be conservation-minded. People seek out conservation properties for recreation and investment purposes. Conservation properties allow landowners to create and enhance wildlife habitats, manage timber resources, and restore natural landscapes.

Conservation easements are for landowners to protect their rural lands. The easements are perpetual restrictions on subdivision, development, and other land uses, tailored to the agricultural, forestry, recreational and ecological goals of the landowner.

Conservation easements offer great flexibility. An easement on property containing rare wildlife habitat might prohibit any development, for example, while one on a farm might allow continued farming and the building of additional agricultural structures. An easement may apply to just a portion of the property, and need not require public access.

Preserving land means that future generations will have access to the natural environments and the beautiful vistas that present generations enjoy.  Once land is developed, its character is changed forever.

Spending Retirement in South Carolina

Everyone looks forward to the time when they can stop working and join the ranks of those in retirement. Today’s retiree looks nothing like our grandparents generation. Retirement doesn’t mean sitting around in a porch rocker passing the time anymore. Today’s retiree is active and wants to travel, golf, sky dive, and take up other previously untried activities. As a result, they are living longer than ever and having a grand time to boot!
As retirement age approaches you’ll be thinking about your plans. Many people take this opportunity to relocate where there’s no ice and snow to force them into six months of hibernation every year. It’s the time in their lives to live life to the fullest 12 months a year!

It makes complete sense that many people would consider the Carolina’s as a logical place to retire to. But where to retire in South Carolina is the big question. To answer this you’ll just need to do a little research and this handbook online will help you pinpoint exactly where to go and what to consider when deciding where to retire in South Carolina.

It used to be that many would retire to Florida but that isn’t predicted to be the case now or in the future. The “hot spots” for those reaching retirement are North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee. These are beautiful areas that I suggest you pay a visit to if you haven’t already. Chances are good that you’ll fall in love with one of them for your new retirement home.

Even Paradise is Affordable Now

Fixed mortgage rates have fallen to their lowest levels in 60 years, giving Americans plenty of incentive to buy homes or refinance their loans. I just read on MSNBC that Freddie Mac said the rate on the 30-year fixed loan fell to 3.98 percent from 4 percent the previous week. Seven weeks ago, it dropped to a record low of 3.94 percent, according to the National Bureau of Economic Research.

Now is a best time ever to purchase Hilton Head property. If you're looking for a second home, an investment property, or to relocate and buy a primary home, don't miss this golden opportunity. Don’t be one of the people who one days says “I wish I’d have bought Hilton Head property back in 2011 when it was truly affordable!”

Everyone agrees that life on Hilton Head Island is living in paradise. A beautiful island in the U.S. where the weather is a balmy, subtropical climate all year round. You'll have everything you need on this 12x5 mile wide island where there's a variety of Hilton Head property for sale. The largest barrier island off the Atlantic coast between Long Island and the Bahamas, Hilton Head is located 40 miles north of Savannah, GA, and 90 miles south of Charleston, SC.

If you’re in the area at the time you won’t want to miss the Old Town Bluffton Christmas Parade taking place on December 2, 2011.

Technology Has Greatly Improved Wheelchair Lifts

Advanced mobility systems such as wheelchair lifts has revolutionized the way those with physical challenges are able to move, work and live. Depending on the manufacturer, lifts are easily customizable at time of purchase or even afterwards, with any number of features for the benefit of the user. Highly-trained and knowledgeable staff at AeroFlow Healthcare are available to assist you when choosing among wheelchair lifts and deciding on the best fit for your needs.

Wheelchair lifts come in various electric and hydraulic styles. Hydraulic wheelchair lifts do not require electricity and can therefore function even during a power failure, although electric wheelchair lifts do come with battery back-up. Hydraulic wheelchair lifts are at times difficult to maintain and require constant care and attention. Electric wheelchair lifts are more flexible and easy to install. There are endless applications for the electric wheelchair lift. The staff at AeroFlow Healthcare can tell you all about this.

Being the advanced mobility systems that they are, wheelchair lifts are available in different modes of operation. Rotary wheelchair lifts are also called 'swing' lifts as their method of operation involves moving the wheelchair by swinging it up-and-down or inside and outside. These wheelchair lifts are typically used in vans and minivans. Since there are so many options and varieties of wheelchair lifts around, selecting your wheelchair lift must be done with much care, taking into consideration all of your individual needs.

What is an REO?

There is so much interest in buying bank owned properties these days. There’s a lot of information out there – some good, plenty bad – floating around in cyberspace about the subject of foreclosures. People get confused with REO and think they’re foreclosures or short sales when actually they’re neither. While considering the purchase of Long Cove Foreclosures I had to have a quick lesson in the difference.

REO stands for Real Estate Owned. REO properties have gone through foreclosure and are now owned by the bank or mortgage company, whichever was holding the mortgage.

Many people think that an REO is a bargain and an opportunity for easy money. That is not always the case. Be careful about buying a REO if your intention is to make money off of it. While it’s true the bank wants to sell it quickly, they are also strongly motivated to get as much as they can for it.

When considering the value of a foreclosed or an REO property, be sure to look closely at comparable sales in the neighborhood. Consider the time and cost of any repairs or remodeling the house needs to prepare it for suitable living or resale. The bargains with money making potential do exist in Long Cove Foreclosures and many people do very well buying Long Cove Foreclosures. But there are also REOs that are not good buys and not likely to turn a profit. It’s up to you to know the difference.

Do You Want to Own a Franchise?

If you’ve always wanted to visit faraway places, and you enjoy working with people, you should consider starting a travel agency business. Setting one up from scratch might intimidate most people, so maybe you could look into buying a travel agency franchise. There are many advantages in becoming a franchise owner. One main advantage is that you will be working under the name and reputation of an experienced travel company.

If you decide on a rather large and well-established travel company, it is very likely that the company will have an extensive training program, and an on-going support system which will train and support all newcomers to the business. A travel franchisor is like a safety net for a beginning travel agency franchise, and will quickly be there to offer help should there be any difficulties for the new agency. All franchisors truly want franchisees become successful.

With the increase in the tourism industry, there are many opportunities to own a travel agency franchise if you’re interested and business-minded. Investigate and see which travel agency franchise is better prepared in supporting and aiding their franchisees. Look for a franchise that has many years in the business, and one that has many franchisees already. These tips will help you focus on the most successful companies. Successful and well-established travel companies already have the experience, the skills, and the know-how, and will willingly share all this and more with their franchisees.

If you’re looking the correct size swivel joint for your application take a look at the online configuration tool at SafeRack to make selecting the correct swivel joint easy. If you have a part number it's even easier. There is a part number guide that gives metal, style, size, and seal for each part so you can double check what you’re ordering.
