Mexico has come out with a delivery truck that should take the world by storm. It is an electric delivery vehicle made by the Modec Corporation. The Modec Electric Truck has a range of 100 miles and a top speed of 50 MPH. This would make it an ideal choice for many stop and go delivery trucks. 
The vehicle can go for 20,000 miles before servicing is needed. The vehicle sells for a little over $42,000 which is competitively priced with comparable gasoline or diesel powered trucks. In commercial operation, considering longer life, lower operating costs, lower cost of ownership, this vehicle seems to make sense for many businesses.
