My Operadisable gnome thumbnailers, e.g. PDF

1) execute gconf-editor
2) goto desktop->gnome->thumbnailers
3) uncheck the keys you want to disable. For example, if you want to disable PDF thumbnailers, uncheck the "enable" of "application@pdf".
4) delete the .thumbnails/ folder in your home directory and logout.
