This is a story of love is so great a father against son. who suffer from birth defects in her brain. Sometimes makes it difficult to indicate the actual ability. Suffering is a way to show real love. Expression is becoming increasingly understood. Especially when reading the story and see a family of Boston, United States. Indeed there are those who complain of difficulty. There are many who come across as loud and angry person because of the huge burden of suffering. Some people are often tempted to be more prone to anger and easy to hate as much trouble to come. This story tells about a family who continues to love her in her suffering. Maybe you've heard of this character, or have never seen the video, it does not matter, but there may have never heard of, who knows what I wrote back here could be useful as a life lesson for us all. All the suffering that began when their son was born with congenital defects. This is not a physical defect on the outside, but on the inside of his body. His brain did not get a good supply of oxygen. Of course this is a bad influence. Simply put, Rick, a boy they would not be able to live a normal life.
Husband and wife were not even have to give up her child will not be able to walk and talk. They find a way for children to learn, to grow, though it has so many flaws. When Rick was 10 years old his parents gave a simple computer that can greatly help Rick. Of course that year, 1972, yet highly advanced technology as it is now. Yet the presence of computer it is very helpful. Rick slowly taught to spell out letter by letter. The first word that they are happy when Rick could move the computer mouse to spell words of greeting, "Hi Mom" and "hi Dad".
Rick slowly introduced to various children's activities in general, although he had to sit in a wheelchair. He was taught to swim, play hockey, etc.. Finally in 1975, when he was 13 years old, Rick entered the normal school. There he studied and could follow it well, certainly with the help of various tools. Do not stop there, Rick could bear a degree in Special Education in 1993. As children and youth in general, Rick loved sports. He follows the news and really want to get involved in it. This is where the greatness of his father's love was tested. Sometime in the spring of 1977, Rick said he wanted to participate in a 5-mile race in their city. His father agreed. Of course, Rick is not capable of running itself. His parents made a special wheelchair that can be driven as he ran. His father ran while pushing her wheelchair.
After the race, Rick as avid for another race. The father always said yes. He never refused his wishes. One night, Rick told his father, "Dad, when I go running, I felt that I was not disabled." Of course this is very touching for the father.
Various competitions they have attended. Peak when they are involved in iron-man competitions. This race includes running, cycling and swimming in the sea. It happened in 1992. Once again, the father said yes without complaining that her son would demand. At that time Rick has 30 years of age and his father was 52 years. After that they still follow some other race anymore. The father of this child to be a solid team. The boy kept trying to give encouragement to his father by the hand and show merentangan happy faces. They have become one. They can not possibly compete separately. The father is her son's body and spirit is the heart that burns to keep running.
They still have plans to follow the race in the Boston marathon, which is Rick favoritenya race in 2011. When that happens, the father's age was 70 years old. We do not know if they can still do it or not. But certainly, this mighty father has shown great love to her son. He never complained, because the suffering of children is a way for him to show his love. At one point Rick was asked, 'if you can give something to your father, do you want to give? "Rick said,' if possible, one day my father sat in this chair and I push it. 'Friends, I learned a lot from this family, of this great father. So I wanted to share with you one of her music.
