Moody and Grumpy

Why am I grumpy? To ship a paperback to me costs $12.00 USD. (Plus the cost of the book.)

Then to make matters worse, it takes 3 to 6 weeks to arrive!

Such a modern world we live in!

:insane: :yikes: Homer: Doh! :bomb: :faint:

What makes me grumpy is paperwork, my hubby takes it, then he says I lost it! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Hi Kim!

I think some of them are "Store Front" operations that don't actually have an inventory on hand. They order stuff and then ship it to you, or drop ship to you from somewhere else.

The really cheap-o ones actually make their money through the shipping and "handling" charges. The advertised price of the goods is very low. But when you add it all up, it is not cheap.

;-D

What makes me grumpy is people telling me that life is a beautiful thing since this is the third day I have spent in bed due to this stupid sickness I have.

So you forget things as a child, I think not.

and then you go on to have a life-threatening illness that you never know day-by-day.

It is frustrating and depressing. You try to tell yourself that life is beautiful and sometimes it is.

You try to have positive thinking, but when you constantly collapse on the floor day in an day out, your positive thinking goes out the door.

I still try to be strong and be a positive thinker, but it is hard somedays.

Sometimes the soul makes hard choices. I hope that you learn everything that you need from your experiences. You must have a very strong soul for it to have chosen this path.

Peace and fair days may come to you in both dreams and waking.

Thank you. One thing I do for myself to cheer me up is to write down 5 things that have made me happy today. It could be something silly like the kitty cat was funny or the clouds were beautiful. Anything to make me smile, especially when I have to stay in bed.

hope things work out for both you (jon) and for greathoneybear...don't like to see friends like this...or myself either, but friends come first.

Thank you SqueakeyCat (if I have spelled it wrong, please forgive me as I am having trouble seeing lately) for your kind words. Hope things work out for you as well.
