Summer transitions

Good news and bad news.
Bad first: I used an old 2002 model eMac in Zhuhai. It worked fine all year. At the end of the year, during the typhoon, I was in taking stuff back to Buji, and left the eMac for a while in Zhuhai. The rain got to it I guess, or the humidity. anyway. It won't start. I get beep beep beep! and the power light flashes 4 times, then nothing. I don't think it is worth repairing. I would have to carry it back to Shenzhen. So, I will think about what to do with it.
Good... I got two new softwares: iPhoto and iWeb. They are very cool. iPhoto now arranges pictures into events. On screen it shows as one pic, but when you mouse over, each picture is shown in turn. iWeb links to iPhoto and lets me publish photos online in a very cool way, much easier than before. So, I am happy with them. I still have to go to Hong Kong to get a new iMac. They are too expensive in China. They think Apple is a luxury goods in China! hahahah!
Here is my first effort:

I keep saying that I am going to get a new iMac, but so far, I have not found an acceptable deal.
But my old home eMac is still working (knock knock knock)
But soon, soooon!

The campus appears to be quite a peaceful place to reside.
Are you watching the games?
Can't believe summer is coming to an end - it went by so, so fast.
Enjoy, looking forward to autumn pics.

I hope I am here to visit with you when you visit China. Maybe we can go on a tour together! hahaaha!
I left my pictures of Guilin in the disk at home in the USA. I would post them if I had them. That area is magnificent!

I am enjoying the story about the adventure in the far north.
There is a movie clip I saw about a glacier calving and generating a wave that swept away some boats and people.
