I bet there are an infinite number of galaxies in the universe because of the constant creations and destroying. Futhermore, it is infinite because they are of having no limits or boundaries. In detail, a galaxy is a word used to describe a collection of stars (a star generates energy through nuclear fusion and therefore emits light) and a single atom could be considered a star; the infinate number of galaxies is the result.

Well, I agree. In a philosophical sense, we can consider the similarities between an atom and a star, but the differences are great enough so that we can not mix them up.
I also agree that there are an infinite number of galaxies in the universe. Every time they make a bigger telescope they can see more. ;-D
