New tiles in the kitchen and some vacation!

Constant rain is boooring and renovating the house.. takes time..
So, the first week has gone by. I quickly realized that I was going to have my first vacation week during constant raining.. not that much fun...
Anyway, when you cant get anything done outside due to poor weather, we decided on getting some work done on the inside of the house since that has been resting the last 2-3 weeks...
So, this time it was the kitchen's time to get some additional facelifting(even though we have completely redone the kitchen 1month ago). The 2 last things that are still remaing in the kitchen is the tiling on the wall and some new wall paper around the doors in the kitchen. We started to do the tiling first since that is more fun and you more seldom do wall tiling compared to boooooring wallpapers..
So, anyway.. I started out to place out the wall tiling and the images below gives you a look on how the end result looks like. Please note that we still have somethings left to do on the kitchen tilings, namely the things inbetween the wall tiles, it called 'fog' in swedish.
Anyway, enjoy the images. I have added a picture on how the wall looked like before starting the tiling as a reference. Hope you like the improvment. =)

Yes, we are getting more and more pleased with the Kitchen now. We kind of almost feel that it's done by know, even though we know that there are still some things that needs to be dealt with.
The biggest problem for me now is to memorize which cupboard has the different forks/spoons/knife's in em, so that I dont have to pull everyone of them out each time to find the different tools... gah... that life can be so hard, like having to memorize things..

Wish someone could do a video recording of you getting up bang in the middle of dinner and pulling and pushing doors open and close, just to fish out one tiny fork at the end of it all
Would be quite an entertainer

The weather seems to be the same here but I can't say I am as hard-working as you are. Oh and there's only one wine glass in the last shot so I suspect you're holding the other one?
So that's why you're not in the operamini channel? I hope they don't wait with Beta 2 until your house is ready

Me running around in the kitchen like a madman would indeed be entertaining. =) The funny thing about this is that I knew from the start(when the kitchen whas done)in which cupboard we keep all the alocoholic beverages... that is indeed a small mystery, by that I mean the way someone's brain can managed to prioritise one thing over another. =)

Yeah, the weather can surely be a great motivator sometimes. Let's just hope that sun will arrive next week so that I can get some motivation to be outdoor's instead of indoors.

its called slective amnesia.. if you know Nick.. because he is somehwere here, very active in this blogging world.. he will tell you how I often tend to 'conveniently forget' certain things and 'promptly remember' the others
P.S. I did notice the lone wineglass too, of course after Lachralle pointed it out.. but.. hmmm you know 2 things where the beverages go.. and the glasses!!
