I sure hope It'll be Photographers. As a fan of photography myself, I really miss some easy way to upload my pictures.

Ahhh seems like its going to be fun just like the last contest :coffee:

Well I love photography its really going to be interesting
but I would also like to suggest a new topic for consideration:
Personal Management, stuff like phone book, todo, notes, reminders etc..

Personal Management is a very vast topic and it is not targeted to any set of users. Participants will also be able to show lot of creativity in their concepts.

I am sure what ever the topic be, outcome will really be amazing.

I would really love to see more widgets to do with music, specifically for musicians (not radio). *goes and does a search for widgets* I now realise there are three or four already (I especially like the GuitarScales Drawer widget), but we could do with a good lyrics widget, and a songmeanings.net widget.

I would love the pet contest. I can think of a few widgets that would be great for pet lovers. At least I think that would be for me.

photography is great too but we do alot of photography here on opera already.

I still would love to see some pet widgets. I would love to have a widget in photography that I could take objects out of a picture add to another. or be able to black out the background of a photograph. I am still an new hobbist in photography but I have great ideas.

widgets that would manage, organize, more than a to do list. I like the idea of being able manage different projects and keep them organized. and the idea above example -shopping list/supplies and price comparison was a great idea.

I would dearly love to see a haiku generator widget with the following critical features:

1. It must be simple to use, consumes little RAM to perform, and takes up a small amount of hard drive space.

2. It should generate the random haiku in japanese (kanji, hiragana, and/or katakana) in vertical format, with appropriate customizable options such as font type, size, and color.

3. It should also have the ability to translate the haiku from japanese to english simply by rolling the mouse over the haiku.

Of course, other features would be up to the widget developer.

Learn more about this poetic art at Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haiku.

Yahoo! Widgets already has a few haiku generators (http://widgets.yahoo.com/gallery/?search=haiku&x=0&y=0), but I have read that the Kolaborator engine is bulky and consumes too much system resources (RAM). Thus, I was hoping that someone would create a haiku generator through an Opera widget that would be superior to the ones created for Yahoo!, more importantly, one that would not overly burden the computer's resources.

I am certain that a haiku generator widget would be a great addition to Opera's widget collection.
